Women’s Float Trip

Join us for a women’s float trip on Saturday, June 13! We’ll be heading to Gilbert Country Store for a 4-mile float from Tyler Bend to Gilbert, which typically lasts around 4 hours. Canoes are $95 each (2 adults per canoe), and you’ll reserve and pay directly by calling 870.439.2888 before June 1. Be sure to mention you’re with Central Hope Church so we can stay grouped together.

We’ll meet at the church at 6:50 AM to carpool (about a 2-hour drive) or you can meet us there at 8:30 AM. Once we arrive, we’ll park, grab life jackets, take a shuttle to the drop-in point, and float the river together—stopping along the way to swim, eat, and hang out.

Kids are welcome, and you’re encouraged to invite friends. Mom’s, we’ll leave it up to you to decide if your daughters are ready for the float trip. Each canoe fits two people (over 50 lbs), with a small fee for additional kids. Bring water shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and food/drinks for the day—nothing will be provided, so pack what you need in a waterproof-safe way.
