The Head, Heart, & Hands: March 27th, 2022

Rachel Cantu   -

Happy Wednesday, Central Hope! By releasing the set list for this upcoming Sunday, we hope to offer a guide to worship our God with our Head, Heart and Hands.

At Central, we believe our daily worship of God should engage the head (our mind), heart (our soul), and hand (our actions). We say this because God has commanded us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Listen to the Central Hope playlist as you commute to work or take your children to school and activities.

Our set list this week includes:

  • King of Kings
  • Psalm 84
  • Great Is Thy Faithfulness
  • It Is Well

This week, we will reflect on Great Is Thy Faithfulness, written in 1923 by Thomas Chisholm.

“There is no shadow of turning with thee.”

Worship God with your head and reflect on his unchanging character in James 1:17, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

“All I have needed thy hand hath provided.”

Worship God with your heart and consider his provision in Philippians 4:19, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus.”

“Join with all nature in manifold witness to thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love.”

Worship God with your hands by practicing Psalm 66:4, “All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name. Selah”

See you Sunday!
